About the seminar
Iran, Syria and Hamas have created a violent reality for Israel. Participants are provided with an understanding and overview of Israel's position in a changing Middle East and the major issues confronting countries in the region. Hamas, Hezbollah, the Golan Heights, Lebanon, the future of the territories and the changes within the Israeli Government will also be discussed. If you want to understand the headlines, this course is for you.

The seminar includes 3 meetings once a week for 90 minutes each.
Classes are held on Sunday, starting July 5 at:

This class looks at Obama's largest problem in the Middle East - a nuclear Iran. How realistic is the threat of a nuclear Iran, would Israel have a preemptive strike and what would the implications for the region be?

After the war in Gaza, Hamas still remains an important obstacle to peace.
This lecture looks at the history of the organization, it's entrenchment into Gaza and it's future
Class Three: Is peace possible?
This class looks at the history of peacemaking in the region and the possibilities for peace in the future
